BAIRD
PRODUCER | SONGWRITER
Baird is an artist and producer raised in Baltimore and based in Los Angeles. As an artist, he has released a trio of EPs entitled Birdsongs Vol.1-3 via EQT Recordings, and a trilogy of albums with his brother Gabe under their moniker The South Hill Experiment.
As a producer, Baird quickly made a name for himself working with BROCKHAMPTON, Arlo Parks, Danny Brown, Maxo, Karriem Riggins, and Dave Longstreth, an early hero of Baird; he counts opening for Longstreth as one of his most proud accomplishments. Working sessions with BROCKHAMPTON became especially fruitful, as he produced most of ROADRUNNER: NEW LIGHT, NEW MACHINE, and became close friends with Kevin Abstract. When Abstract interviewed Baird for i-D, he singled out Baird and praised him for his singular work. More recently, he co-wrote and produced Arlo Parks’ third LP, Ambiguous Desire on Transgressive Records.
He is currently elbow deep working on his debut solo album.
