Gabe goodman
PRODUCER | Songwriter
Gabe Goodman is a producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Massachusetts. His musical path began when he was gifted a toy guitar gifted on his fourth birthday and immediately began writing songs. He was seen performing some of this early work on an episode of Kids Say The Darndest Things.
In the 2010s, Goodman joined the touring lineup of synth-pop outfit Magic Man, cutting his teeth on the road before pivoting to the studio. As a producer, he’s become a trusted collaborator across the indie and alt-pop spectrum, known for ability to make music feel both expansive and deeply personal.
His credits span from the raw intimate folk of Field Medic to the sweeping pop power of Maggie Rogers. As a primary collaborator of Del Water Gap across multiple albums, Goodman co-wrote and produced the breakout single “Ode to a Conversation Stuck in Your Throat”.
Goodman’s own voice as an artist came into fuller view with the release of The Rock in 2024, a debut album that distills years of experimentation into something stark and poetic; blending idiosyncratic indie-folk production with lyrics that are both sharply observant and unafraid of emotional risk.
He now lives and works in Los Angeles.
